I just wanted to let you know that the friend I came to Single & Mingle with met someone there and they've been dating for a few months now 🙂
The bell ring to get people to move to talk to other people was a good idea.
The event was exactly the kind of thing I've been waiting for but which has simply not been available in the East Midlands until now. It's also less rigidly structured than speed dating which has too many limitations on age bracket, interaction time and event frequency.
I made lots of new friends last night and we've created a WhatsApp group so we can arrange nights out.

Enjoyed meeting people I wouldn't have met if I were sat at home scrolling through a dating app.
Mingling is not rushed like with speed dating.
